Owner
Laura has 25+ years of experience in the window coverings industry. She moved to North Carolina with her family and started Shutters & Blinds by Design in 2009.
Laura has worked to build a company that focuses on providing superior products as well as superior customer service.
In addition to managing the company, Laura goes on sales consultations, meets with builders, and inspects products to ensure our clients are happy and satisfied.
Tyler Currie
Design Consultant
Tyler graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in design.
Tyler joined Shutters and Blinds by Design in 2020.
Tyler enjoys helping clients with their window covering needs for their new home or through the transformation process.
Tyler provides great attention to detail and has an eye for interior design which his clients love.
Madeline Caywood
Office Administrator
Madeline joined Shutters and Blinds by Design in 2021.
Madeline schedules design consultations for our sales team and product installations for our customers. It is most likely who you will be speaking to when you call in.
She maintains the office, assist our sales and installation team with various task, and is here to help our customers with their order every step of the way.
